The Pricing Tool is being replaced by the Pricing Hub. The concepts described in this article apply to both tools, though some steps may differ in the Pricing Hub.
The Pricing Tool synchronizes basic data such as VAT groups, wholesalers, species, client and patient tags, and subgroups from Vetera every night automatically. Depending on the settings, items may also be synchronized every night.
Note: Changes made to items in Vetera will be synchronized to the Pricing Tool at 00.00 UTC. You can expect to see the changes in the Pricing Tool the next day.
You can also synchronize data manually. When changes have been made in Vetera, there may be an up to 24 hour gap during which there is different data in Vetera and the Pricing Tool. Therefore, a manual synchronization is recommended when changes such as updating clinic locations, manual item imports, or other changes to items have been done in Vetera,
Go to the Status report page.
From the Synchronize button menu, select the data you want to synchronize (All items or Base information). Base information includes all information except items:
Clinic locations
Item lists
Laboratory groups
Wholesalers
Tags for clients and patients (invoices are excluded)
Subgroups
VAT groups
Species
Account numbers
Clinic location groups (not used at the moment)
Conditional pricing rules
Confirm to start synchronization.
Note: If your system contains a lot of items and clinic locations, manual synchronization may take a long time.
