You can create a task from anywhere in Vetera by selecting the Tasks icon in the right side-panel, then + Create task. If you are on a client, patient, or consultation page when you do this, the relevant client and patient are added to the task automatically.
Select the Tasks icon in the right side-panel.
Select + Create task.
In the Create task dialog, add the task details. Title and Assigned user or Ward are required.
A specific ward can be assigned, for example, to assist in managing triage services and emergency appointments. Note that when a task is assigned to a ward only, no users are notified about the task (the task can be viewed on the task dashboard).
By default, the user selection list includes the users of the currently selected clinic location. If your organization has several clinic locations, you can select the Show all users checkbox to include all users from all clinic locations.
You can also select a task Type and Status, set a Deadline, and add a reminder with the Remind before option. In addition, you can add a specific Client and Patient the task is related to.
Select Save.
Other Ways to Open the Create Task Dialog
Press Alt+T from anywhere in Vetera. On a client page, the client is added automatically. On a patient page, both the client and the patient are added.
In an active consultation: scroll to the Next steps section, then select + next to Tasks. On the old consultation page, this is the Planned future actions section instead. Select the patient (if there is more than one), then select + next to Tasks.
On a patient's page: select the Tasks tab, then select Add.
Fill in the task details as described above.
Task Notification Preferences
To set personal preferences related to tasks, select your name in the bottom-left corner, then select My profile. On the Tasks tab, you can choose whether to receive notifications about tasks by email/SMS and subscribe to other users' tasks to be notified about them.
