You can view graphs of a patient's vital signs on the Vitals tab of the patient page. If you are using the new consultation page design, you can also view vitals graphs directly from the consultation page. This article explains how to view vitals graphs and which fields are included.

Standard Vital Signs

When entered, the following standard vital signs can be plotted on a graph on the Vitals tab:

  • Weight

  • Temperature

  • Blood pressure

  • Heart rate

  • Respiratory rate

  • Body Condition Score (BCS)

Custom Vitals

Custom patient status fields (custom vitals) are available on the Vitals tab on the consultation page but do not appear on the Vitals tab on the patient page. Custom vitals cannot be plotted on a graph. These values are saved to the patient's history, where they can be selected to produce a table.

Add and Print Vitals

To add a new reading, see Add Patient Vitals Signs. To print the graph, select the Print button.
