When imaging has been completed at an imaging device and the images have been archived in the Vetera PACS, you can view the results in Vetera.
Note: In Settings > Integrations > Diagnostic imaging settings > PACS, multiple PACS can be set up per clinic location. To open Settings, select the clinic location name in the top-left corner of the sidebar, then select Settings from the list.
The steps below apply when your organization uses the integrated MedDream viewer. If your organization uses its own PACS instead, see the note at the end of this section.
Show Images (MedDream Viewer)
In the Diagnostic imaging section of the consultation page where the diagnostic imaging referral was created, or at the top of the patient's page, select Show images in viewer to open the integrated MedDream image viewer.
At first use, the system asks you for login credentials, which you can get from your clinic or hospital administrator.
In the MedDream viewer, select the study you want to view from the list of the patient's diagnostic imaging studies.
The MedDream viewer lets you view images in a flexible way, similar to programs commonly found in diagnostic imaging workstations, and lets you export images in various formats. The URL also shows more context, making it easier to track diagnostic images.
Note: When using your own PACS (not MedDream Viewer), the Show images button redirects you to the URL you have specified. You may need to log in with relevant credentials to the specified platform to view the images.
