AI Actions is part of AI Scribe. It analyzes the consultation recording and automatically suggests clinical actions — such as medications, procedures, diagnoses, and vital signs — that you can review and add to the consultation. Where possible, it pre-fills details from your Vetera database, such as quantity, batch number, and the performing staff member.
AI Actions is included in your AI Scribe subscription at no extra cost.
Find and Review Suggested Actions
Start by recording the consultation with AI Scribe. See Use AI Scribe in Consultations for the recording steps. When the recording is complete and AI Scribe has generated the summary note, the system suggests actions based on what was said during the consultation.
Go to Actions to view all suggested actions. They are grouped by type, such as Medication and items, Vital signs & status, and Diagnoses.
Review each action before adding it to the consultation. Some details may already be pre-filled from your Vetera database. Others you may need to fill in manually.
Note: Always review AI responses before making a clinical decision.
Add an Action to the Consultation
Under Actions, check the suggested item. If a medication was mentioned by name but without a specific strength or dose, select the correct variant from the drop-down list from your Vetera database.
Verify any pre-filled details such as Quantity, Usage method, and Batch number. The fields shown vary by action type.
Fill in any required fields — these are highlighted in red and vary by action type.
Select the add button on the card, such as Add medicine, Add procedure, Add weight, or Add diagnosis.
When successfully added to the consultation, the action card updates to confirm this, showing a summary of the added details.
To add all remaining suggestions at once, select Add all to consultation.
Note: Lab tests and bundles aren't supported yet. Add lab orders and bundles the way you normally would.
